LexEz Terms of Service

Effective October 6, 2026 · LexEz is provided by We-Soft LLC, Kansas City

These terms govern use of LexEz — the LexEz Firm web app and the LexEz Attorney and Client mobile apps — provided by We-Soft LLC ("we"). A law firm's subscription agreement with We-Soft LLC, if any, controls where it differs from these terms. By using LexEz you agree to these terms.

Where LexEz is offered: LexEz is currently offered to law firms in Kansas and Missouri. Firms are responsible for complying with the rules of professional conduct and other laws of the states where they practice.

1. Accounts

Firms create accounts for their staff, attorneys and clients and decide who can see what. Keep your sign-in details private and tell your firm or us promptly about any unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. The firm's responsibilities

The firm is responsible for the information it and its clients put into LexEz, for having the right to use it, for its professional and ethical obligations (including client confidentiality, conflicts, trust accounting and record retention), and for reviewing everything LexEz produces before relying on it.

3. Not legal advice

LexEz is software. It does not provide legal advice, and calculated items such as deadlines, statutes of limitation, time totals and invoices must be checked by the firm.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use LexEz to break the law, to access another firm's or person's information without permission, to upload malicious code, to interfere with the service, or to attempt to bypass its security.

5. Connected services

If you connect Google, Microsoft, a payment provider or another service, that service's own terms also apply. How LexEz uses connected-calendar data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Fees

Paid plans are billed as described at sign-up or in the firm's agreement. Unpaid accounts may be limited after notice.

7. Your content

The firm and its clients own the content they put into LexEz. We use it only to provide, secure and support the service as described in the Privacy Policy. When a firm leaves, it may export its information as provided in its plan.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep LexEz available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or improve features; we will give notice of changes that materially reduce what a paid plan includes.

9. Disclaimers and limits

To the extent the law allows, LexEz is provided "as is", and We-Soft LLC's total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees paid for it in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Ending use

A firm may stop using LexEz at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.
